The Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders celebrated 50 years of the organization's professional cheerleaders at a half-time performance on 9/16/2012. The organization has touched over 450 women that were a part of the Miami Dolpins Cheerleaders since 1970.

The mayor and county commissioners of the City of Miami honored Clemmie Perry with a proclamation during Women's Month, for implementing and performing community service work with two computer technology programs. Ms. Perry was one of nine honoree's selected to mark the commission's celebration of National Women's History Month-Women Pioneering the Future.

Miami Church Delivers Technology Training to Youth

America's Promise, the organization founded by General Colin L. Powell to mobilize people from every sector of American life to build the character and competence of our nation's youth featured the TECHS program from Martin Memorial A.M.E. church in their report to the U.S. White House and the Nation. The lab is part of the church's TECHS (Teaching Each Christian How to Use Systems) program, a drive to bring digital literacy to children and their families in their under-resourced neighborhood.
